In an effort to improve the quality of displays of potatoes and other vegetables, a substantial premium will be offered to displays that reflect a good quality for the duration of   the fair. Therefore, it will be necessary to replace some or all potatoes or vegetables during the week. A display includes all vegetables or potatoes entered by one individual.

EXHIBITION HALL CONTEST RULES:

1. Articles that have been displayed at the Northern Maine Agricultural Fair cannot be displayed again.
2. Any article considered unworthy in any class where there is no competition, will not be awarded a premium. 
3. All articles must be made by the Exhibitor under whose name they are exhibited. Goods must be new and well 
    laundered. Articles should have been finished within the year that they are exhibited.
4. Best of Show cannot be entered as this prize is determined by judge.  
5. In case of a dispute or misunderstanding, in any class of Needlework, the decisions of the Judges and/or 
    Superintendent, will be considered fair, impartial, and final and all items are entered under these conditions.
6. Enter through the Judd Street Gate for easy access to the Ag Exhibition Building. 
7. Federal law requires that we report to the Internal Revenue Service prizes, awards or premiums paid to any individual or partnership if the amount paid aggregate $600.00 or more. We are also required to provide the Federal Identification (E.I.) number or Social Security number. If we are not furnished the (E.I.) or Social Security number or are furnished an incorrect number we must withhold 20% of the amount to be paid. Accordingly, it is most important that all persons furnish us with their numbers, if exhibiting or participating in fair activities where premiums or prizes may be awarded.

Please enter through the Judge Street Gate for easy access to the Agriculture Exhibition Hall.

EXHIBITION HALL PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS:

USE STATE STREET GATE for easy access to the Agriculture Exhibition Hall.
Please Park on Judd Street Side of the Exhibition Building

Entries and premiums may be picked up during the following time:
Sunday, August 4th 5:00pm-6:30pm  
No Entry Passes will be given to pick up exhibits on Sunday.

Arrangements can be made to pick up your items at another time if you are unable to pick them up on Sunday. Please contact
